Gormley Back On Top In Senior Scoring Charts

Round seven of the division one league saw starred games take place without county players and that has cost Ardboe’s Tommy McGuigan his place in the top ten. He is replaced by Coalisland’s Gerard Toner in what was a strange weekend for the leading marksmen. Niall Gormley led the way for a few weeks at the start of the season and he is back at the top of the pile thanks to a 1-6 return in Trillick’s win over Moortown. Previous leader Conor McAliskey managed just a single point last time out as did Kevin McNally and Liam Gervin while Simon O’Neill and Peter Harte didn’t add to their tally at all, the latter of course not in action due to Tyrone’s game with Monaghan this weekend.
