Gortin Girl Dearbhla Reaching For The Stars

One of our young talents in Scór na nÓg, Dearbhlá Scallon, heads off to Dublin today for the recording of the forthcoming series of Scór Encore. Dearbhlá and her sister Brónach represented St. Patrick’s this year in Scór na nÓg, with Dearbhlá coming 2nd in the County Final in the amhránaíocht aonair. After the final TG4 approached her to audition for this year’s Scór Encore. Having successfully got through the audition Dearbhlá travels today with her family and friends to Dublin . Everyone in the Club is extremely proud of her achievements to date and we wish her all the success that she deserves for the future.
