Grade 1 Minor League Title For Stewartstown

November 9th 2013 will be a date that will be recorded in the history of Stewartstown Harps following their winning of the Grade One Minor league. The Harps defeated favourites Ardboe 1-10 to 0-9 at Edendork this afternoon with all the winners’ scores coming from play. The key score was a fisted effort that hit the net early in the second half from the very impressive Dan Lowe. Lowe ended up as top scorer for the winners with 1-4 to his name.
Stewartstown played some very good football right from the off and reached the break ahead by a point 0-6 to 0-5. Lowe’s second half goal proved crucial as the Harps youngsters recorded a famous win for their club.
