Brackaville closed the gap on leaders Dungannon to two points but an understrength side had to pull out all the stops to overcome their namesakes at O’Brien Park. Ronan Fox got one of their goals while Tiarnan McGlinchey, Ciaran Gervin and Conor McStravog all featured among the points as they shaded an extraordinary game 2-21 to 7-5. Their championship final opponents Aghaloo also picked up a win when they beat Dregish 0-17 to 0-7 away from home with Brian McKenna, Gerard McCaughey, Kevin O’Gorman and John O’Neill all supplying points.

Brocagh made sure of a third place finish by winning 2-10 to 1-7 away to Glenelly in a clash between two beaten championship semi finalists. Teamtalk All Star nominee Ciaran Donnelly hit 1-3 for the winners with Padraig Bell, Paul O’Neill and Ciaran Campbell registering as well. Tattyreagh travelled to Killyman and won 2-15 to 0-10 with Ciaran Og Hughes, Conor Boyle and Declan Boyle the St.Marys’ scorers on the day. Sean and Conor Cartin got the all important goals for the Tatts as they made the long journey home with the points.

Fintona and Newtownstewart served up a high scoring and entertaining game which the Pearses won 2-10 to 1-7. Declan Coyle scored an early goal for the losers but Fintona dominated the possession and scores after that. Conor Mc Goldrick scored his first senior goal for the club while Aaron Mc Carney, Bernard Cassidy, Tommy Mc Grath and Jason Donnely all scored points for the Pearses. Tommy Mc Grath got Fintona’s second half goal which helped ensure a deserved win for the home side.Kevin Gallagher was once again the outstanding player on the Newtownstewart team.

Marty Rogers was in fine scoring form for Beragh in their 0-16 to 0-4 win over a disappointing Drumragh side. Beragh led 0-6 to 0-2 at the break but pulled away in the second half to win comfortably. Rogers hit 0-10 for his side while Niall Owens and Eddie Molloy both landed a brace and Sean Mc Mahon and Ryan O’Keefe completed the scoring for the victorious Red Knights.
