Harvey Makes It A Double At Writers’ Bash
Saturday 08.12.2012

Retiring Tyrone PRO Damian Harvey made it a double last night in Bundoran when he collected “The Communications Award” at the annual Ulster GAA Writer’s Banquet. The affable Cookstown man steps down from his role as County PRO this Sunday after five years in the post. His hard work and dedication took the post of PRO to a new level and he will be a difficult act to follow. This was recognised at the glittering Jubilee Banquet that also saw Tyrone man Brendan Harkin receive an award for Services to The GAA. The Killyclogher clubman has served the county in many positions over the years and is now the Hurling Development Officer for the Red Hand County. Our congratulations to both men on their awards.
