Heavy Defeat For Senior Camogie Side

An understrength Tyrone senior Camogie side fell to a heavy defeat to neighbours Armagh on Saturday at Healy Park in the All Ireland Premier Junior Championship. They found Armagh stronger, quicker and more efficient in possession throughout the game and in spite of their best efforts they were well beaten in the end.
Armagh led 1-3 to no score after ten minutes with their goal coming from team captain Ciara Hill. Tyrone did manage to get the scoreboard turning with points from Aisling Hagan and Aine Cunningham but in truth Tyrone were up against it throughout.
The second half saw the weather worsen with heavy rain making things difficult for both sides. However Armagh made the most of conditions and pulled away to win 3-19 to 1-7.
