Holders Advance To Semi Final

Ulster U16 Vocational Schools champions St.Joseph’s Coalisland are through to the semi finals after overcoming Donegal kingpins Carrick College at Celtic Park on Friday afternoon. The Donegal lads had the wind at their backs in the first half and they led 0-6 to 0-4 at the break, Cahir Quinn and Ronan Fox on target for the holders. The champions held their opponents to just one score in the second half as efforts from Gerard Woods, Donal Robinson, Shane Donnelly and Darren Devlin helped them to a 0-11 to 0-7 victory. They now play St.Columban’s Kilkeel in the semi final, the Down champions hammering Inver College Carrickmacross in their quarter final today as well on a 4-11 to 0-4 scoreline.
