Holy Trinity Into All Ireland Final Again
Saturday 30.03.2013

All Ireland Vocational Schools champions Holy Trinity Cookstown are back in another final after overcoming Davitt College, Castlebar at Brewster Park on Saturday afternoon. The Mayo lads started well as they established a 0-3 to 0-1 lead but points from Frank Burns, Ryan Loughran and James McGahan coupled with a penalty goal from the latter helped the holders into a 1-5 to 0-3 interval advantage.
Liam Irwin and Stephen Finnerty had Castlebar points but Burns, Loughran and David Mulgrew replied for the Tyrone lads. The Connaught champions pulled a goal back from Gerry Hunt but it was Holy Trinity’s day and a well taken major from Daryl Magee confirmed their place in another final.
