Hurling Information.

The following information regarding the future development of Hurling within the county has been released from the County Board Games Development Officer Anne Daly.

Following on from the successful Hurling Forum on Wednesday 3rd November a follow up meeting will take place on Wednesday 24th November in Kelly’s Inn, registration from 7:15 – 7:25pm. All Clubs are requested to inform those who represented the Club at the first forum of the follow up meeting, also anyone who was unable to attend is invited along.
Can all Clubs please meet in advance to discuss fixture proposals and bring with them recommendations for each of the three workshops?

7:15 – 7:25pm – Registration
7:30 – 7:50pm – Welcome / Report on forum workshops
7:50 – 8:15pm – Workshops (part 2)
Workshop One – Adult fixtures
Workshop Two – Youth fixtures (U14 – Minor)
Workshop Three – Go Games (U8 – U12)
8:20 – 8:55pm – Report on workshops. Discussion and decisions
9:00pm – Refreshments
On the night at registration all Club representatives will be requested to select their preferred workshop to attend. Each Club representative will only attend one workshop
This is the opportunity for all Clubs to have their input into one of the major issues affecting hurling within the County!
