Eire Og exited the Ulster Intermediate Championship race at the first hurdle after a wayward afternoon in front of the posts.  The Carrickmore men hit eighteen wides in a game that offered them so many opportunities. Dermot Begley got the only goal of the game and Aidy Kelly hit a number of points from play and the dead ball.  Despite points from Brian McGurk and Sean Og Grugan the Eire Og side couldn’t overcome the Antrim champions as they spurned chance after chance in front of the posts.  Final score St Brigid’s Cloughmills 2-18 Eire Og 1-15
