Injury Worries Ahead Of Monaghan Clash
Tuesday 24.05.2011

Tyrone senior footballers held their press night at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown last night [Tuesday] and manager Mickey Harte revealed that their injury lost is mounting ahead of the opening game in defence of their Ulster title against Monaghan on Sunday week.
“The players are playing a lot of club football and that’s better than standing about but continuous football takes its toll as well and there are players with a few niggles and little bits of injuries”, said Harte.
“Joe McMahon is out as you well know while Sean Cavanagh, Martin Penrose and Philip Jordan are all carrying knocks while Niall McKenna has an ankle injury. Pascal is fighting with it [quad injury] but I think he will be alright but Enda McGinley and Ronan McNabb, one of our young players, are both definitely out.”
