It’s Raining Goals For The Ladies

Tyrone ladies secured their Division 2 status following an eleven goal haul against Wicklow in their playoff match at the weekend. The return to action of several experienced players certainly helped Kevin Mc Crystal’s side get the win they needed but the contribution of a pair of “ever presents” was essential in getting the victory.
Having match winners throughout the team is important but having them in the forward line is essential. Tyrone’s Niamh O’Neill and Chloe Mc Caffrey have battled hard throughout this league campaign creating and taking scores. In last weekend’s game they bagged 5-6 between them with Niamh O’Neill top scoring with 3-6 and Chloe bagging a brace of goals.
Well done to both girls on their efforts throughout this league campaign and hopefully they can carry their good form into their upcoming Ulster Championship campaign.
