In grade one Errigal Ciaran made the trip to O’Neill Park to take on Dungannon but they returned home with nothing to show for their efforts. Michael McDermott 1-2, Cillian Curran 0-2 and Jamie Martin 0-1 were the scorers for the visitors with keeper Darragh Feeney making several excellent saves including a penalty with Neil Conroy and Finn Mallon also playing well.
In grade two Greencastle proved too strong for Clann na Gael on home soil. Shane Molloy 2-3, Sean McGlinchey 2-0, Marcus Conway 0-5, Seonag Harte 0-2 and Tarlach Tracey were the Greencastle scorers with Conor Molloy and Cailum McKenna both playing well in defence.
Fintona travelled to play Na Doiri Oga and they just came up short on a 2-13 to 4-6scoreline. Scores for the Pearses came from Dara McMenamin, Thomas Gallen, Cahir Cassidy and Sean McCarney with Igor Samulewicz, Cillian Donnelly, Donnchadh Bennett and Cahir McClenghan doing well in their defence.
Drumragh produced a good display to account for Donaghmore at Clanabogan. Shea Mullin 3-1, Conor Fyffe 0-5, Joseph Taggart 0-4, Ollie Hagan 1-1, Niall Burt 0-2, Niall Gormley 0-2 and James Gallagher 0-1 were the Sarsfields scorers while keeper Matthew O’Doherty made a number of good saves and Matthew Barrett, Oisin Walsh and Ethan Montague all defending well for the hosts.
Dromore edged out Beragh at home in a brilliant game between two well matched sides with the St.Dympnas getting a fortunate goal towards the end to seal victory on a 1-14 to 2-8 scoreline. Shea O’Donnell top scored for the winners with 1-3 to his name with Nathan McCusker putting in a great shift at wing half forward.
In grade three Eskra were winners away to neighbours Tattyreagh with goals proving to be the difference between the two sides. Daithi McNamee 2-2, Dara McGarvey 1-3, Jack McCarroll 0-3, Jack Kelly 1-0 and Cormac McGarvey 0-2 were the scorers for the Emmetts with Michael Donnelly and Christie Meegan playing well in their defence.
Naomh Eoghan got the better of Killeeshil in a contest that produced fourteen goals. Cahir McKenna top scored for the winners with 3-3 to his name with Conor Doherty 2-3, Niall McGettigan 2-0, Paddy Flanagan 1-2, Conn Kelly and Aaron O’Lone all on target as well.
Owen Roes got the better of Naomh Brid at home, 4-7 to 2-6. Travis Logue, Conal Kelly, Shea Houston and Daire Houston got their goals with points coming from Lorcan Kelly, Logue, Daire Houston and Jack McFadden with good performances from Shea McCrossan, Finn Phillips and Travis Logue.
Drumquin’s ability to get goals proved key as they won away to Urney. Joe O’Kane [2], Cillian Mullan, Sean Gormley and Jack McCusker got the goals for the Wolfe Tones with good performances coming from Sean Mimnagh, O’Kane, Gormley and Daithi Mackey. John Henderson was a driving force in midfield for Urney hitting five points with John Porter, Eoghan Devlin and Harry Sweeney all getting a brace each with Tarlagh McCrory solid in defence.
Aghaloo proved too strong for neighbours Augher away from home. Daniel Gormley, Shea O’Connor and Riley Shevlin were among the St.Macartans scorers with Conal Shevlin, Broghan McKenna and keeper Patrick McKenna all played well. Tiernan McCarron finished with an impressive 5-2 to his name for the winners with Daire McGinn notching 2-5 and Ethan McCarron and Patrick Sherry also scoring goals with points coming from Mark Gildernew and Skye Douglas and Cillian O’Sullivan both playing well in defence.
Errigal Ciaran were comprehensive winners over Kildress in the Development league. Finn Maguire 3-2, Martin Reinhardt 3-0, Gavin McAnenly 2-1, Conor McCrystal 1-3, Cahir McCann 1-2, Cahir Mullan 1-1, Cahir Magill 1-0, Shea Devine 0-2, Liam Loughran 0-2, James McGinley 0-2, Kealan Horisk 0-1, Odhran Horisk 0-1 and Cillian Curran 0-1 were their scorers with Daniel Donnelly, Tiernan Somerville and John Donnelly all strong in defence.
Fintona were 4-9 to 3-10 winners away to neighbours Dromore. Fionn Donnelly, Matthew Colton, Thomas Colton and Daniel Colton were among the scorers for the Pearses with Eoin Watson, Jake Gill, TJ Marlow and Jack Irwin all playing well in defence.
