In Grade 1 Carrickmore produced a fine display to record a convincing win at home to Trillick. Conal Loughran, Joseph Hughes, Vincent Gormley, Paidi McCallan and Fionan Magill were among the scorers for the St.Colmcilles with good performances coming from Conall Bennett, Paidi Loughran, Patrick Haughey, Ruairi Daly and Niall Morris. Aodhan Corry got the Trillick goal with Tomas McElholm, Conor Corry and Daniel McGurren featuring among the points and Niall McCann doing well in goals.

 

In Grade 2 Greencastle were in fine scoring form away to Kildress. Shane Molloy 3-4, Marcus Conway 1-3, Sean McGlinchey 2-0, Seonag Harte 2-0, Michael McElduff 1-0 and Cailum McKenna 1-0 were the scorers for the winners with keeper Shay Donnelly making some good saves and his kick outs were also pinpoint.

 

Fintona made the trip to Edendork and returned home with the two points in the bag. Cahir Cassidy, Dara McMenamin, Sean McCarney, Ryan Fee, Tomas Gallen and Sean Donnelly were among the points for the Pearses.

 

 

In Grade 3 Naomh Eoghan had home advantage against the Rock but despite battling hard they were up against it. Conor Doherty, Paddy Flanagan and Cahir McKenna were among the scorers for the home side with Oran Gallagher, Conn Kelly, Aaron O’Lone and McKenna playing well.

 

 

Owen Roes were another away side in fine scoring form as they came out on top against Coalisland. Fintan Coyle, Travis Logue, Luke Doherty and Shea Houston all found the net for the inners with Shay Houston, Lorcan Kelly, Eoin McCrossan and Daire Houston featuring among their points with Ronan Ruddy also performing well.

 

 

It was certainly a day for away sides in Grade 3 as Tattyreagh hit a bit total as well on their travels to Moy. Cormac Darcy weighed in with a brilliant 6-9 with Tristan McKnight notching 2-4, Finbar Darcy 1-1 and Oisin McLaughlin 0-1 while Meehal McGrath and Patrick McHugh played well for them also.

 

 

In Grade 4 Aghaloo had a good win away to Aghyaran. Patrick Sherry 2-4, Tiernan McCarron 3-1 and Daire McGinn 0-4 were among their scorers with Eoghan Rafferty and Ruairi Creighon solid at the back. Aghyaran keeper Reuben McMenamin made an excellent penalty save and there were good performances in defence from Flynn Browne, Patrick Dolan and Adam Baird. Midfielders Proinsias McElhill and Jamie Byrne scored a goal each with Charlie Byrne, Daithi Gormley, Baird and Oisin Moss among the points.

 

Clogher lost away to Urney with Michael Lowry among the points for the Eire Ogs as well as getting their goal with Oisin McElroy also on the scoresheet and Eoin Cullinan playing well in their defence.

 

 

Drumquin proved too strong for Augher on home soil. A goal and two points from team Captain Cahir McCallion as well as scores from Caoimhin Coyle, Eoin McLaughlin and Joseph O’Kane helped the Wolfe Tones lead at the interval and in the second half Sean Gormley tagged on points with Cillian Mullan grabbing a goal to seal victory. Sean Mimnagh, McCallion, Joseph Kearney and Ronan Donnelly all played well for Drumquin. Daniel Gormley and Shea O’Connor were among the Augher scorers with great performances from Broghan McKenna in defence, Oisin O’Connor in midfield and Patrick McKenna solid in goals.
