The second game in the double bill at Father Connolly Park in Eglish on Saturday evening also proved to be a one sided affair as Brocagh had a surprisingly comfortable victory over Killeeshil.

The St.Marys were without a number of key players but that in no way takes away from an impressive display from the Loughshore men who produced flashes of superb football throughout the sixty odd minutes. Killeeshil managed only one point in the first half from a Pascal Donaghy free and by that stage Brocagh had a vice like grip on proceedings. Barry Donnelly, Christopher McCluskey, Donal Robinson and Michael Hughes all kicked points with the latter also blasting in a well taken goal for a 1-6 to 0-1 interval lead.

Halftime substitute James McKiver made an immediate impact for the Emmetts with a second minute goal to dispel any thoughts of a Killeeshil comeback. Barry Donnelly, Cathal Donnelly and Ciaran Campbell all had Brocagh points with full forward Hughes taking his personal haul to 1-3. Donaghy, Darragh Hamill and the O’Neills Bernard and Ruairi had second half points for the St.Marys but it was an afternoon to forget for them as Brocagh march on.
