JFC | Clogher Advance to Last Eight After Win Over Killyman

Clogher booked their place in the last eight of the Junior championship thanks to an emphatic 2-15 to 0-9 victory over Killyman at Eglish on Saturday afternoon.
Ciaran Shields and Shane McGahan exchanged early points before Fergal McKenna cut in from the end line to find the net for the Eire Ogs from an acute angle in the 11th minute.
McKenna then added another goal, his 16th of the season, and Clogher looked to be well on their way to victory. Killyman dug deep though with points from Michael Donnelly and Ciaran Og Hughes to cut the gap by the break.
Donnelly, Shane McGahan and Enda McGahan had second half points for Killyman but it was Clogher who seized control. Ciaran Shields, Michael McCaughey, Sean McCaffrey and half back Conor Shields all landed points as they won with plenty to spare in the end.
