In Grade 1 Trillick suffered a narrow defeat at home to Cookstown. Aodhan Corry and Braoinain O’Kane were the Trillick goal scorers with Matthew McGarrity, Tomas McElholm, Corry and Daniel McCrudden featuring among the points with good displays coming from Conor Corry in defence and Cormac Ratchford in the half forward line.

 

Loughmacrory travelled to O’Rahilly Park to take on Clonoe and they came out on top with the minimum to spare, 3-12 to 4-8. Mark Harte, Ciaran McCrystal, Lorcan Meenagh, Ruairi McNamee and Owen Kelly were among the Loughmacrory marksmen with Cormac Fox and Eoin Kelly also playing well for the winners.

 

Cappagh collected two points thanks to a fine display at home to Errigal Ciaran. Oisin McCrory, Ronan Brodrick, Luke Patterson and Louis McFadden got the goals for the winners with Josh Green, Shea McGinn, Tiya O’Neill, Charlie Meenan, Keelan McKinney and McFadden featuring among the points with Brodrick and Conall McKenna their standout players on the day. James McGinley 1-1, Michael McDermott 0-3, Neil Conroy 0-1, Matthew O’Donnell 0-1 and Cillian Curran 0-1 were the Errigal Ciaran scorers with Jack Kelly, Niall Kelly and Darragh Feeney also putting in great efforts.

 

 

Beragh travelled to play Kildress in Grade 2 and a good all round team display saw them emerge worthy winners. Jack Devlin hit a brace of goals with Darragh McClean, Aidy Farley, Eoghan Loughran and Oisin Porter among the points on a day when they had good displays from Ronan O’Loane, Larla Quinn and Odhran Porter.

 

Fintona produced a superb display to win against Pomeroy at Plunkett Park. Donnchadh Bennett, Igor Samulewicz, Tomas Gallen, Ryan Myers, Ronan McCann, Sean Donnelly and Sean McCarney were among the scorers for the Pearses.

 

Greencastle hit 2-10 at home to Na Doiri Oga but still ended up losing by four points. Seonag Harte 2-2, Marcus Conway 0-5, Shane Molloy 0-2 and Cailum McKenna 0-1 were the Greencastle scorers with Harte and Conway to the fore as well as Frankie McNamee in defence.

 

1-3 from Nathan McCusker as well as a superb display in defence from Tiernan McCann in defence enabled Dromore to beat Donaghmore on home soil.

 

 

In Grade 3 Eskra produced an impressive display to win away to Naomh Eoghan. Paddy Flanagan got both goals for the hosts with Alex Pattison, Niall McGettigan, Cahair McKenna and Conor Doherty among their points. Cormac McGarvey 3-4, Dara McGarvey 3-2, Daithi McNamee 1-3, James Scullion 1-2, Jack Kelly 1-0, Jack McCarroll 1-0 and Christy Meegan 0-1 were the scorers for Eskra with solid defensive displays coming from Michael Donnelly, Conall Kelly, Jack Kelly and Meegan.

 

 

Strabane played host to neighbours Owen Roes at Sigerson Park and they came out on top on a 2-11 to 3-3 scoreline for a result that booked their place in the league semi finals. The winners held their opponents to only two scores in the first half while they had points from J Stewart, H Williamson and Vaughan Hegarty as well as a converted penalty from Stewart after he had been fouled himself. In the second half Stewart grabbed a second goal of the contest with points coming from Stewart, Cathal Tinney and three from the boot of young Sean Rouse. This was a first defeat of the season for Owen Roes on a day when Conall Kelly 1-2, Travis Logue 1-0, Ross Doherty 1-0 and Fintan Coyle got their scores.

 

In the Development league Carrickmore proved too strong for Fintona at home. James McAtee, Tommy Colton, Daniel Colton, Oran Goodman and Sean Griffiths all featured on the scoresheet for the visitors.
