An impressive display from Carrickmore saw them account for Ardboe on home soil to progress to the semi final of the Grade 1 championship. Ryan Donaghey, Vincent Gormley, Conor McElholm, Conal Loughran and Phelim McCrory got the Carrickmore goals with Donaghey, Gormley, P Donaghy, S Donnelly and R Woods featuring among their points on a day when Oisin Conlon, Michael McCallan and Cal McAleer were all solid throughout while keeper Conor McPhillips made a number of excellent saves.

Fintona made the trip to O’Rahilly Park to take on Clonoe and they emerged comfortable winners. Peter Colton hit half a dozen points for the Pearse with his haul including three successful 45s with Dara McMenamin and Paudi Goodman getting their goals, the latter from the penalty spot. Tiernan Donnelly 0-3, Dermot Martin 0-2, Rory Partington, Owen Griffiths and Igor Samuelewic were their other marksmen with full back Cillian Morgan to the fore as well.

Killyclogher lost out to Donaghmore at home in a low scoring encounter. Daithi McMullan got their goal with Thomas Meenan, Ronan Daly and Charlie Meenan among their points on a day when they had good performances from Oliver Barton, Caolan McKinney, James Maguire and keeper Jamie Kelly who made a number of saves.

In the grade 2 championship Trillick put up a battling display before losing out to Dungannon after extra time at Donnelly Park. Peter McGarrity, Daniel McGurren, Tomas McElholm and Shea Donnelly were the scorers for the St.Macartans with Peadar Daly, Turlough O’Hagan and Mark Warnock all playing well too with Dungannon scoring 1-1 late on to win 2-12 to 0-14 just when it looked likely to be settled on penalties.

Na Doire Oga edged past Kildress on a 1-15 to 1-12 scoreline. James Mulgrew, Emmett Heagney, Shea Mullin and Liam Loughran had first half points for a Wolfe Tones side who trailed 0-8 to 0-5 at the short whistle. On the restart Dan Heagney and Eoin McNally had Kildress points but the winners took control with a number of scores including a goal. Caiden Girvan was unlucky to sustain an arm injury and that seem to galvanise his teammates as they threw everything at their opponents with a Mulgrew goal cutting the deficit to three. That was as close as they got though on a day when Kildress keeper Tommy Mullin made four top saves.

In the grade 3 championship the Final will be between Urney and Moy after they overcame Edendork and Drumragh respectively. Jack Langan top scored for Urney with 1-3 with Cathair Linsay and John Porter both finding the net as well while Josh Neeson, Noah Connolly, Conor McClintock and Eoghan Devlin all played well as it finished 3-6 to 1-9.

The other semi final was a close affair as well with Moy winning 6-10 to 3-15. Joseph Taggart, Shea Mullin and Tiernan O’Donnell got the goals for the Sarsfields with Ryan Baxter, Matt Gallagher and James Fyffe supplying points and Matthew Barrett, Oisin Walsh and Conor McLaughlin all playing well for the Sarsfields but their strong second half fightback just came up short.

The grade 4 Championship Final will be between Clogher and Naomh Eoghan. Jayden Chambers scored an excellent goal for the Eire Ogs with Niall McKenna, Michael Lowry and Ben Phair among their points as they defeated Aghyaran 1-14 to 3-3 away from home.

Conor Doherty, Niall McGettigan and Conor Durey got the goals for Naomh Eoghan with Cahair McKenna and Sean McConnell kicking points as they defeated Tattyreagh 3-12 to 2-10. Despite defeat this was a fine all round team performance from Tattyreagh with Cormac Donnell and Ben Norris to the fore in defence, Meehal McGrath and Patrick Harley working hard in midfield and Cormac Darcy (1-6) and Harley (1-4) in fine scoring form.

In grade 1 league Errigal Ciaran were emphatic winners at home to Cookstown. Mickey McDermott and Dan Loughran both scored a brace of goals as well as hitting four points between them with Ronan Fleming, Caoimhin Conroy and Conan Canavan all weighing in with 1-2 each with Neril Conroy also finding the net and Jack Kelly grabbing a couple of points.

In the grade 2 Pomeroy lost at home to Coalisland. Odhran Barrett 0-2, Ryan McWilliams 0-2, Shea Rafferty, Donnacha Cunningham and Adrian Berlowski were the marksmen for the Plunketts on the day.
