In grade 1 Fintona scored 4-10 away to Arboe but still finished up losing by the minimum margin after a cracking contest. Tiernan Donnelly 2-3, Peter Colton 1-4, Dermot Martin 1-2 and Tom Gallen 0-1 were the Pearses marksmen with keeper Cillian Morgan also performing well.
Carrickmore proved much too strong for neighbours Loughmacrory on home soil. Padraig Donaghy, Ryan Donaghy, Conor McElhone, Vincent Gormley and Conall Loughran were among the scorers for the St.Colmcilles with Phelim McCrory, Michael McCallan, Cal McAleer and Padraig McCrystal all playing well to.
Cappagh emerged comfortable winners away to Clonoe. Daithi McMullen, Charlie Meenan, Thomas Meenan, Ronan Barton, Oliver Barton and Christy McCrory were among the scorers for the winners with James Maguire, Shane McPhillips and Ronan Brodrick standing out in their defence and keeper Jamie Kelly making a number of great saves.
Greencastle came up short on their visit to Dungannon in grade 2. Marcus Conway and Shane Molloy grabbed three points each for them with Sean McGlinchey and Michael Francis McAleer getting their goals with Michael Meenan their other point scorer. Myles McElduff and Conor Molloy played well in their defence.
Trillick edged the verdict at Pearse Park against Galbally, 2-13 to 1-15. Sean McAleer and Turlough O’Hagan got the goals for the St.Macartans with Peter Garrity, Matthew Garrity, Shea Donnelly and Daniel McGurren scoring most of their points on a night when they had excellent performances from Niall McCann in goals, Peter Garrity and Tomas McElholm in defence, Aodhan Corry in midfield and Mtthew Garrity, Donnelly and McGurren up front.
Dromore emerged convincing winners on their trip to Na Doire Oga. Eoin McCusker got their goal with points coming from Nathan McCusker (4), Liam Dillon (3) and Fionn Teague (3) with solid displays from Tiernan McCarron, Darragh McCann and Sean McCusker.
In grade 3 Castlederg recorded a hard earned 4-9 to 3-10 win away to Eskra. The main difference in the end was the scoring ability of Derg Captain Eoghan Bradley who hit 2-5 with Aston Hoynes 2-1, Oliver James, Nathan Glackin and Kieran McDaid all on target as well. Ronan Donnelly scored 1-4 for the Emmetts with Eoin McAvoy 0-4, Mattie McKenna 1-1, Daithi McNamee 1-0 and Cormac McGarvey also on target. Conal Kelly and Eoin McCarney in defence as well as Mattie McKenna and Ronan Donnelly all battled hard for Eskra.
In grade 4 Clogher had a good win away to Fintona. Niall McKenna and Oisin McElroy were among the scorers for the Eire Ogs with corner back Conor Cullian also playing well.
Goals proved the key as Tattyreagh beat Brackaville 3-8 to 1-10 at home. Cormac Darcy 2-5, Patrick Harley 1-2 and Meehal McGrath were the scorers for the winners with full back Finbar Darcy to the fore and Tomas Mullan giving a man of the match display at centre half back.
Goals from Conor Doherty, Conor Durey, Niall McGuigan (2) and Cormac Devine coupled with good performances from Jude Harkin, Cahir McKenna, Shea McSorley and Ronan Gallagher saw Naomh Eoghan defeat Aghyaran at home.
