After consultation with the Tyrone Senior Football management, Senior
Goalkeeper John Devine wishes to announce his retirement from
Inter-County Football. John will continue his club career for Errigal
Ciaran.

Since making his Senior debut in 2002 under Art McRory and Eugene
McKenna, John has been an ever present member of the Senior County
squad and has collected 3 All-Ireland Senior Football titles to add to
an All-Ireland Minor success in 2001.

Paying tribute to Devine, Mickey Harte said

“As well as being a top goalkeeper,John is a great person. He has had
a tremendous presence within the squad and his influence will be
missed. John was a vital part of all our All-Ireland successes and I
wish him the best for the future as he continues his club career”

Teamtalkmag.com echoes those views and wish John every success
as he turns his focus exclusively on club football.
