With the senior semi final out of the way it was back to league matters for all the teams in Divisions
Two and Three. The key games in Division Two resulted in wins for Aghaloo, Clan Na Gael and
Newtownstewart. The Newtown and Clan na Gael results ensured Intermediate football for them for
2011 while Aghaloo’s victory over neighbours Kileeshil means the border club’s hopes of avoiding
relegation remain alive for another few weeks at least.

As well as Kileeshil the other big losers at the weekend were Strabane who travelled to Rock and
produced one of their poorest displays of the season. The Sigersons showed no appetite for the fight
whatsoever and lost by seven points to a side still hoping to feature prominently in the division one/
two playoffs.

Meanwhile things show no sign of letting up in Division Three as Championship Finalists
Stewartstown and Killyman continue to set the pace. The Harps still sit proudly at the top of the
league following their very convincing win away to Castlederg. Killyman took second place again
courtesy of a point at Glenelly and Brackaville’s defeat of Fintona. This win moves The Owen Roes
into a playoff spot and with momentum behind them they could spring a surprise or two before the
season is out.
