Kildress Chosen To Lead “Rith”

Kildress Wolfe Tones have been invited to participate in Rith 2012. This is a great honour for the club to be involved in promoting the Irish Language in Tyrone. Rith 2012 is a 10 day festival covering 4 provinces, 15 counties, 700km in total. Kildress will lead the Tyrone leg of the journey and carry the baton for 1km. It will commence in Kildress on the 9th March at 5pm from St. Josephs Hall Killeenan. Members of the club or anyone interested from Tyrone clubs or simply in support of the Irish Language are welcome to come along and participate in running the 1-9km from Kildress to Cookstown (Fr Rock’s). The club would like support from Kildress parish and surrounding areas.
