This Wednesday night sees the Ladies Junior B Championship final between Kildress and Badoney at Loughmacrory. Both sides have played some fine football to get to this stage and a great game is expected. The game throws in at 7:30pm and is expected to attract a large attendance.
This will be a first ever championship final for Kildress who have beaten Rock and Edendork along the way. Their team is a nice blend of youth and experience which includes current Tyrone minor player Alice Mc Nally and former senior dual star Maeve Conway.
The team is managed by Jarlath Loughran and captained by Sarah Lennon and the Wolfe Tone girls are hoping to make history on Wednesday night by winning their first ever senior ladies title.
Badoney reached the final following a fine win over a very good Urnai side winning 2-18 to 4-04. The present team is a nice mix of young and not so young with team captain Lisa Keenan leading the way and they will be approaching the final in a positive frame of mind.
