Killeeshil are through to the final of the Hunky Dorys Tyrone Junior Football championship following a four point win over Killyman. Killyman got off to a fast start and were ahead after just six seconds thanks to an Enda McGahan point. McGahan went on the top score for Killyman firing over an excellent 0-6 with four of those points from play. However Killeeshil had thier own ace marksman in free taker Shane Mallon who finished the match with 0-5. However it was corner Killeeshil’s corner forward Eoghan Donaghy that did the damage for the hoops firing home a goal and three points to help claim the victory. Captain Packie McMullan also got on the scoresheet for Killeeshil in the second half when he hammered over a long range point. Killyman battled bravely and they can be proud of their championship run in 2013 however it’s the men from Killeeshil that will go up against Loughmacrory in the Tyrone Junior final in two weeks time. They will go into that game as underdogs but you suspect that Killeeshil will be happy enough with that scenario. Final score Killeeshil 1-11 Killyman 0-10
