Tattyreagh will be plying their trade in Junior football next season after they were well beaten away to Killeeshil in a relegation playoff on Saturday afternoon. The home side were in superb form throughout the sixty odd minutes with a brace of early goals sending them on their way to victory.
The scoreline finished 3-18 to 1-9 with all but one of the winners tally coming from play. Tomas Hoy was in outstanding form for Killeeshil finishing with 0-9 to his name on a day when he was one of a dozen scorers for the St.Marys. Packie McMullan, Paul O’Neill and Micheal O’Neill got the Killeeshil goals with defenders Matthew McCusker and Michael Carty also on target as were substitute duo Eoin Neill and Daniel Rafferty. Cathal Darcy got the Tattyreagh goal with Keelan McDonagh kicking four points and Johnny Harkin three.
