Killyman Coming Good In Division Three
Sunday 03.06.2012

Killyman enjoyed a four point win over Drumragh on Saturday evening but were made to fight all the way by the visitors who produced a much improved display. Indeed had it not been for their profligacy in front of goals the Sarsfields may have got a result from this one. Killyman benefited from a fortuitous first goal which had a major bearing on the outcome. Drumragh’s first goal came courtesy of a penalty from Marty Taggart while ace marksman Tommy Murphy hit the second. Gavin Quinn, Shane Cleary and Taggart were also among the point scorers on a night when Drumragh played well but came away ultimately with nothing to show for their efforts. Final score Killyman 2-12, Drumragh 2-8.
