TYRONE LEAGUES CONTINUE

An Charraig Mhor maintained their good run at the top of the Tyrone ladies senior football league with a facile win over Ardboe who only hit a single score as the league champions drove home their advantage. Aodh Ruadh are also on form, they had a seven point win over Errigal while St Macartans sealed a good win over Glenelly.

The big Intermediate derby at Healy Park ended in a draw between Omagh and Cappagh. Both teams had served up some tremendous football with St Endas leading by nine points at one stage. Cappagh fought back and managed to draw the game level deep in injury time.

Trillick edged a thriller against Beragh at Donnelly Park to maintain their promotion push while Clan Na Gael bounced back to winning ways at home to Aghyaran. Loughmacrory and Sigersons collected full points over the weekend in the junior league while Sperrin Og and Fintona drew

FUNDRAISER

The Tyrone GFA will host their annual fundraiser The Boogie in The Barn at O’Hagan’s barn in Eskra this coming Sunday. The first Boogie in the barn last year proved to be a roaring success and it’s expected to be bigger and better this time around. All the proceeds raised go to support ladies football in the county and the organising team the Tyrone county senior squad and county board have appealed to the people of Tyrone to come out and give the event their support. The music on the night will be supplied by Chasin Hooley and doors open at 9-30pm. Tickets for the second Boogie in the Barn priced £10 are now on sale with admission £12 on the door. Patrons are advised to purchase a ticket.
