Ladies Championship Wins for Owen Roes and Moy

When these two sides met earlier in the season, it was Urney who picked up the points overcoming an Owen Roes side that were playing their first game at this level in several seasons. However in Sunday night’s Championship opener the Leckpatrick ladies got some revenge, as they ran out comfortable winners thanks to an excellent hours work in Dunamanagh on a score line of Owen Roes 6-17, Urney 0-1.

On Monday evening Moy and Galbally met in the quarter final of the Junior championship and produced a memorable game that saw the Moy girls emerge victorious but only just on a final score of 2-09 to 1-11. Moy scores on the night were Nina Murphy 2-02, Maeve Mc Kearney 0-02, Eimear Mc Cormack 0-3, Eimear Swail 0-01 and Sophie Lavery 0-01. Galbally scorers: Sarah Carberry 0-02, Shaunagh Carberry 0-01, Shauna Kane 0-02, Aisling Mc Crory 0-01, Alanna Mc Keown 0-01, Maeve Mc Glincey 0-01, Eimear Tally 1-00, Amy Carberry, Justina Mulgrew and Celine Carberry 0-01 apiece.
