Tyrone Senior Ladies Championship Quarter Final
Errigal Ciaran the Tyrone Ladies reigning senior champions made it through to the last four of this year’s competition following their 5-10 to 2-5 win over Glenelly. Errigal’s ability to hit the net proved decisive as they banged in five goals over the course of last weekend’s final game.
Lycrcea Quinn scored 2-7 for the winners with Cailin McCann, Michaela Moore and Maria Canavan also firing in goals as Errigal eased past last year’s Ulster intermediate champions.
In the Intermediate quarter finals Dromore emerged with a one point win over Aghyaran, 3-8 to 3-7. Fr Rocks beat Trillick as Loughmacrory set up an intriguing semi-final clash with Ardboe after they beat a fancied Donaghmore.
Coalisland meet Edendork in the first of the junior semi-finals on Saturday while Castlederg await the winners of the quarter final replay between Badoney and Fintona. That game ended 1-10 apiece.
