Tyrone Ladies are out of the championship after a heavy defeat against a very determined Donegal side. Gerry Moane’s side found themselves nine points in arrears at the break as they trailed 2-9 to 1-3 following a very poor first half from the Red Hand girls. Tyrone’s first half scores came courtesy of three points from Cathy Donnelly and a goal from Lycrecia Quinn. Tyrone struggled to cope with Roisin Curran and Geraldine Mc Laughlin who between them scored 2-7 in the opening half. It did not get any better for the Red Hands in the second half as they could only add three points while their opponents tagged on another 1-6. Final score Donegal 3-15, Tyrone 1-6.
