Kildress bounced back for last week’s defeat with a great team performance to get a win over Coalisland.

Coalisland got the first score of the game with a great ball into the forward line. Kildress responded with a well worked goal & once they got in front held the lead throughout. 

Coalisland came out fighting in the second half with some well worked points & reduced the deficit at one stage to three points. However Kildress kicked on after the water break with the defence on top throughout, working the ball well out into the forward line & getting a well worked goal & some fine points

Carrickmore showed they mean business with a very impressive win over Cookstown Fr Rocks. Caitlin Gormley, Aimee Fox, Maedbh Mc Callan, Claire Mc Gurk and Clodagh Munroe bagged goals for their team while Gemma Begley, Caitlin Gormley and Eve Loughran were among the points. In what was a very solid team display there were excellent displays from Aideen Loughran, Eimear Mc Garrity and Aoibhin Daly. Lauren Rush accounted for most of the Cookstown scoring return.

Killeeshil saw off the challenge of Sperrin Og in a game where county colleagues Grainne Rafferty and Niamh O’Neill enjoyed something akin to a shootout. Rafferty bagged 2-5 of her team’s tally and was a constant source of trouble for the Sperrin Og defence while O’Neill accounted for 1-8 of her team’s 3-12. Killeeshil’s other scores came from Ciara Donnelly (0-5), Bronagh Mc Kenna (1-1), Zoe Loughran (1-0)and Orla Mulgrew (0-2). Sperrin Og’s Meaghan Clarke built on the good start she made last time out with another 1-2 while Laura Heagney (1-0), Claire Tuohey (0-1) and Ciara Fox (0-1) were also among the scores for their side.

Macartans had a relatively trouble free 3-16 to 1-1 win over Glenelly with Chloe Mc Caffrey (1-9) once again showing her class. Paula Donaghy (1-2) and Shauna Mc Girr (1-3) also found the net for the winners.

Trillick made the long run to Ardboe but after a very resilient display came away with the points following a 7-12 to 1-11 win. Emma Brennan top scored for the Reds with 3-1 while May Williamson (2-3), Fiona Owens (0-5), Dearbhaile Gallagher (1-1) and Shauna Mc Gurren (1-0) were all on target as their team wins again.

Drumragh saw off the challenge of Badoney with a six point 1-12 to 0-9 win. County players Neamh Woods and Joanne Barrett were prominent in this fine team display and win. Eva Mc Caul top scored for the Sarsfields with 1-5 while Woods, Barrett, Grace O’Neill, Rachel Cleary, Aoibhin Gallagher, Kathryn Donaghy and Julieanne Quinn all got among the points. Dearbhla Mc Donald (3) and Kerrie Mc Garvey (4) shared seven points between them for Badoney while Bronagh Mossey (2) was also among the points.

Aghyaran got the better of Omagh winning 3-14 to 1-10. Aimee Coyle was in fine scoring form hitting 1-9 of her team’s total including a rebound from a missed penalty. Sasha Byrne bagged 2-2 for the winners while Aoibhin Mc Hugh, Tara Mc Hugh, and Aoife Byrne were among the points for the north Tyrone girls. 

Danni Browne (4), Orlagh McNamee (1) Christianne Hunter (2), Sophie Kelly (0-3) and Eabha Grugan (1-0) were among the points for the St Endas girls.
