Errigal Ciaran continued to lead the division one table as they once again turned up the heat cruising to a big win over neighbours Killeeshil. It finished 3-14 to 1-2 with the Errigal side turning in another fine display moving to top of the pile again as Macartans were not on duty. This was a disappointing outing by the St Mary’s who although they played some decent football they still struggled against the power of Tiffy Quinn’s side.

At the other end Omagh continue to struggle this time at the hands of Cappagh. The St Enda’s were again “let down” by some experienced players who have failed to step up to the plate this term lost 5-8 to 1-8 with Cappagh’s Terri McCusker rattling in 3-3 of her side’s tally.
Carrickmore built on their return to form with a battling draw against Aodh Ruadh at the weekend. The St Colmcilles are having a topsy- turvy season but will be happy to come away with a share of the spoils.

Glenelly continue to perform well in division two and they edged out a battling Sperrin Og 2-10 to 3-6.

Siobhan Sheerin kept Glenelly in the tie after a bright opening from Sperrin Og and when she found the net late on following a good move the hosts were on track for a win. Devlin fired over a fine insurance point while Edel O’Kane’s fine interception denied a Sperrin Og a late goal chance. Glenelly remain the pacesetters in a tight division.

Trillick looked impressive as they easily accounted for a youthful Galbally Pearses at Donnelly Park in the junior grade. Elsewhere Moy beat Beragh Red Knights with some aplomb as Coalisland continue to look good with an influx of wonderful young players. The Fianna scored three fine goals as they beat Badoney to remain promotion chasers, building on the success of last season. Pomeroy had four points to spare over near neighbours Rock finally as the promotion chase is starting to catch light after six rounds.
