The last Tyrone club championship title was up for grabs on Friday as the under 14s of Dungannon and Eglish met in the final. The game was in Edendork and was attended by a huge crowd of expectant supporters.

The cup would eventually go to Eglish who despite going a goal in the first minute controlled most of the match. It was only in the last five minutes of the game that Dungannon managed to score again with three successive goals.

Eglish captain Megan Vincent was presented with the cup and Eglish player Leanne Donnelly picked up player of the match receiving a Tyrone crested kit bag for her efforts.

A huge vote of thanks to the large band of supporters who turned out but especially to Edendork club for the use of their facilities. The pitch was in immaculate condition and perfectly laid out and it was a fitting venue for the final championship match of 2013.

Saturday saw the official opening of the Garvaghey complex. As part of the opening there was a blitz for the various codes and four camogie clubs participated. It was an exciting morning for the young camogs and a big thanks to Tyrone GAA for their invitation to be part of the event.

Eglish played their first Ulster Intermediate championship tie on Sunday against Armagh champions Tullysaran. There was a strong breeze blowing directly down the pitch and Eglish chose to have the wind in their favour for the first half. They soon took the lead and really never looked under any sort of pressure for the duration of the game. They took their points with ease from all areas of the field and they built a sizable lead at half time. Tullysaran were unable to pose a real threat but did manage some nice scores. The home side made a few substitutions in the second half but they ran out comfortable winners on a score line of 2-16 to 1-5.Their next opponents will be Liatroim who of course are the county Down champions.

Dungannon seniors are now in the semi-final of the Ulster Bridie McMenamin shield. They were rewarded with a home tie against Clontibret of Monaghan this Sunday at 10:00am after a convincing win against Castletara of Cavan. The venue will either be Edendork or Dungannon.
