There was little between Kildress and Moy in their weekend fixture after a great second half comeback from the Moy girls. Clonoe Senior Ladies continued their league campaign as they travelled to the top end of the county to play Clann na nGael in their penultimate game. Despite the unavailability of many girls, the 20 girls who made the long journey put in a fantastic shift over the hour to run out worthy winners, picking up 2 points to sit joint top of the league table.

Both teams started strongly trying to put their stamp on the game. However, it was Clonoe who registered the first score of the game on the seventh minute through Orlagh Gavin with a well taken point. In what was a very tightly contested first half, Clonoe had two scorers on the scoreboard by half time with Alicia Devlin kicking 0-1 and Orlagh Gavin scoring another 3-02 to add to her first point. However, the workrate, tenacity and intensity from the whole team enabled Clonoe to outscore Clann na Gael by 2 points at half time.
