Omagh v Donaghmore
When the game began it was Donaghmore who were first on the attack and to start the scoreboard with a goal and a point.
Omagh responded almost immediately with a couple of goals and from there continued to add to their tally.
Donaghmore worked hard all over the field of play but with the halftime whistle drawing near Omagh were proving more difficult for the Donaghmore girls to defend against or prevent from scoring.
At the break Omagh were well ahead.
The second half began with Omagh once again in the ascendancy as they continued to add to their scoring tally. Donaghmore made a few positional changes and introduced a few fresh runners from the sub bench which resulted in them hitting the net on 3 consecutive occasions.
Omagh however regained their composure as both sides enjoyed periods of dominance in what looked like an old fashioned shoot out between the sides. The Donaghmore girls had turned their game around and fought back extremely hard but unfortunately the clock was ticking and there wasn’t enough time to catch the worthy winners on the night.
