Aodh Ruadh defeated Killeeshil 2-13 to 2-6 in a morale boosting win with their scores coming from Aoife McGahan 1-5 (2f), Faye Loughran 1-1 Cara Pinkerton 0-1, Áine McNulty 0-4, Meabh Mallon 0-2.
Badoney and Clonoe served up a competitive and entertaining fixture which was won by the O’Rahillys on a final score of 2-12 to 0-4 having led at the break

Trillick and Moortown met in the latest round of the league with the Reds emerging victorious 2-5 to 1-6 having led at the break 2-4 to 0-3.

Loughmacrory were much too strong for Galbally in their recent league meeting which saw the loch girls cruise to a comfortable 8-13 to 0-3 win having led at the break 3-8 to 0-2. The standout player of the match was Loughmacrory’s Eva Conway.

Clonoe and Donaghmore served up an exciting and high scoring game in round seven of the league. The O’Rahillys led 1-11 to 0-5 at Half time but Donaghmore came well into the game in the second half. Unfortunately they left themselves with too much to do after the restart and despite their best efforts lost 2-19 to 0-13.

There was something of a derby feeling between Sperrin Óg and Cookstown in their latest league meeting which saw the Cookstown girls lead at the break 3-7 to a goal before emerging winners on a score line of 3-12 to 2-5. Having played against the wind in the first half Sperrin Óg were much improved after the break and made a real game of it in spite of the gap. Aisling and Michaela Fox were outstanding for the Greencastle girls while Helen Mc Kenna had a fine game in goals making several excellent saves.
