The past weekend saw the completion of all Youth Football Activities with the 4 U.13 League Finals plus the 2 remaining U.16 Finals down for decision.

In all the games some top class football action was witnessed. In the U.13 Finals Charraig Mhór pulled off a surprising but totally deserved victory over a strong Moortown side in the Gr.1, while at Gr.2 Derrylaughan were too strong for a gallant Owen Roes side that battled gamely throughout.

In Grade 3 Gael N.Pádraig overcame a determined Beragh side that really made their opponents battle all the way.

In the Gr.4 decider Aghyaran got the better of Eskra following an epic encounter which ebbed and flowed from end to end, with a late goal proving the crucial score.

Final Scores:    Gr.1  Charraig Mhór – 1-10 Moortowm 2-6

Gr.2 Derrylaughan 7-17 – Owen Roes 1-3

Gr.3 Gael Naomh Pádraig 3-10  Beragh 3-3

Gr.4 Aghyaran 1-15 Eskra 2-9

In the two remaining U.16 Finals, Newtownstewart finished Double Champions adding the U.16 Gr.3 League title to the championship success following a replay win over a spirited Breac an Bhíle,

Final Score- Newtownstewart 2-9 Breac an Bhíle 1-8

In the Gr.1 U.16 Championship Final played as a curtain raiser to the Senior County Final, both teams served up what was a real thriller and it went right down to the wire, with a late Coalisland goal snatching victory for the East Tyrone lads. Both teams deserve great credit for the exhibition of skilful and exciting football displayed from start to finish.
