League Success For Moortown

Moortown captured the final ladies grade two title of the season when they proved too strong for favourites Galbally in the league decider at Kildress on Thursday evening. Team Captain Caoileann scored a goal for the winners in the first attack of the game and they never looked back. Donica Ryan, Sarah Devlin, Rachel Tallon and Quinn all featured among the scorers for the Loughshore girls as they ran out comprehensive winners. Leanne Corrigan and Mia Arthurs had points for the Pearses but it wasn’t their night although they had a superb season winning the championship, Tyrone Feile title and All Ireland Feile Shield.
