Liam Wins Golden Boot In D3

The first award at this year’s Allstar Banquet is now confirmed. Rock’s Liam Nugent has won the Begleys Sports sponsored golden boot for the leading marksman in Junior football with an impressive 3-106 to his name. He held off a stern challenge from last season’s winner Aaron McCarney of Fintona with Newtownstewart’s Aidan McSorley also breaking the 100 points barrier. Drumragh’s Shane Cleary and Beragh’s Martin Rodgers complete the top five.

Liam will receive two complimentary tickets to the Allstar banquet on November 30^th when he will be presented with his award.
