That is it, it’s all over at Coalisland and Derrytresk get the last two points of the day from Joe Mc Kee and Liam Slater to finish the day 1-16 to 1-8 and deservedly make it through to the Power NI Junior final where they will play the winners of Fintona v Killeeshil.

A sideline strike from former county county player Mark Harte reduced the gap to six points with less than four minutes left on the clock.

Looks like it is going to be a famous day for the Derrytresk lads as they enter the final six minutes of the game, seven points up and with an extra man. It is going to take a miracle for Errigal Ciaran to get back into this one.

Derrytresk extend the lead to 1-11 to 1-4 with points from Cathal O’Neill and Micky Rea and another Niall Gavin free puts them eight in front but back come Errigal and Michael Harte and Damien Mc Dermott frees help to close the gap to 1-12 to 1-7. However Niall Mc Cartan gets a straight red card for Errigal and further frees from Niall Gavin and Micky Rea puts the score 1-14 to 1-7 with ten minutes left on the clock.

Joe Mc Kee makes it 1-9 to 1-4 for Derrytresk with six minutes of the second half played as the Hill Men make the best of the chances that come their way. They are playing some very attractive football.

Second half gets under way and Derrytresk start well with a point from Micky Rea and they now lead by four 1-8 to 1-4.

Damien Mc Dermott has a chance to close the gap with a free from the edge of the D and the former county minor puts three between them as the referee blows the half time whistle.

Anything Errigal can do Derrytresk can do better and Micky Rea finds the net for his side to put them three points ahead and Niall Gavin puts four between them with a free. There are two minutes plus injury time of the first half remaining.

Twenty four minutes in and Errigal take the lead with an opportunist goal from Michael Harte but Derrytresk bounce back almost immediately with the equalising point from a free by Micky Rea. It is now 0-6 Derrytresk, 1-3 Errigal Ciaran.

Michael Harte gets his side’s third point a free from the edge of the D and it is now 0-5 to 0-3 for Derrytresk. This is shaping up to be a very close and entertaining game. Sixteen minutes on the clock.

A lovely attacking move from Derrytresk and they are almost through for a goal but Ronan O’Neill has to settle for a point with a finish from off the ground to extend the lead to three: 0-5 to 0-2

A free from Damien Mc Dermott is Errigal’s second point of the day and it is now 0-4 to 0-2 in favour of Derrytresk.

Michael Harte converts a free for Errigal to open their account but almost immediately Cathal O’Neill responds with a point from play so with ten gone it is 0-4 to 0-1.

Six minutes in and Gavin hits a superb free from thirty metres and it is Derrytresk 0-3, Errigal 0-0.

Referee Sean Hurson gets the game under way and it is first blood to Derrytresk with a point from Joe Mc Kee in the first minute. Niall Gavin adds another shortly after and with two minutes played it is 0-2 to no score in favour of the men from the Hill.
