Killeeshil Cruise Into Junior Decider

Full Time Score – Killeeshil 1-14 Fintona 1-6

Very comfortable win for Killeeshil who cruised into the Tyrone Junior Championship final with a eight point win.  They did manage to kick 17 wides which will not impress their management team but none the less the favourites are through.  Next up Derrytresk in the decider in on 16th October.

60 min – GOAL Fintona.  Fintona full back Sean Connolly neatly finishes to the net.  But Killeeshil have the last say as second half sub Aaron McKenna scores a point from play.

58 min – John McMullan put Killeeshil ten points ahead.  Very comfortable for Killeeshil this afternoon. 1-13 to 0-6

54 min – The defenders are starting to get in on the act.  Michael McMullan pops up from corner back to score a point.

46 min – Centre half back for Fintona Jason Gallen gets a straight red card from Shane Dorrity.  John McMullan adda another point for Killeeshil.  The task looks impossible now for Fintona.  1-11 to 0-6

GOAL Killeeshil -Packie McMullan goal.  He dived into the box and punched the ball to the net.  1-10 to 0-6

37 min – Niall Mellon and Niall Donnelly add two points for Fintona.  Killeeshil lead 0-10 to 0-6

34 min – Packie McMullan extends Killeeshil’s lead to six.

Half time in Killyclogher. Killeeshil ahead 0-9 to 0-4.  The last two scores came via a Shane Mallon free and Gary Reilly from play.  That on top of ten wides.

25 min 0-7 to 0-4 to Killeeshil but the wide count for the St Mary’s men has now reached eight.

Fintona half back Jason Donnelly clips a point over after some great work from Niall Quinn.

Killeeshil add further scores from Gary Reilly and Rory McCann to extend the lead to three.

Killeeshil now lead 0-4 to 0-3.  Shane Mallon landed a free but Fintona respond well with a point Aaron McCarney and Aiden Quinn reduce the lead to one.

10 min – Reilly once more.  That’s his third point from play.  Fintona are going to have to get must tighter on him.  Killeeshil 0-3 Fintona 0-1

8 min – Gary Reilly is looking like he’s in good form coming into this game.  He puts Killeeshil in front from 35 metres.  Killeeshil 0-2 Fintona 0-1

4 min – Killeeshil press forward at pace and centre half forward Gary Reilly splits the post from play to level the scores.  One point each.

3 mins – Aaron McCarney opens the scoring with a point for Fintona.

Referee Shane Dorrity gets Killeeshil and Fintona up and going.  The winners will meet Derrytresk in Healy Park this day fortnight.
