An Ardboe player is on the ground and Cathal O’Hagan is going to have a word with Kevin Donnelly another yellow card that makes it eighteen, nine minutes into additional time and Colm Mc Cullagh has a free thirty five metres out on the left and sends it over the bar to level it at 0-10 each. A replay is the result as both sides finish level on the scoreboard but Ardboe with thirteen men, Dromore with 14.

Wind assisted Mc Guigan misses with 23 minutes on the clock.

Conor O’Hara concedes a free on the twenty metre line and Tommy Mc Guigan has the chance to put his side ahead again.

Dromore’s Conor O’Neill draws a super save from Ardboe keeper Conor Mc Grath after a great run from Ryan Mc Menamin sets him up and the sides are level 0-8 each as we enter the final twelve minutes.

a fabulous score from Kyle coney from all of forty five metres to move Ardboe a point ahead but almost immediately Ronan Mc Nabb drives towards the Ardboe goal and is fouled. Sean O’Neill sends it yards wide.

Colm Mc Cullagh came very close to becoming the third player to be sent off this evening but Cathal O’Hagan issues a stern warning to the Dromore star.

Tommy Mc Guigan hits Ardboe’s first wide of the game with a free from a very difficult angle out wide on the left.

Eoin Mc Cusker narrows the gap to a point from a thirteen minute free and Niall Sludden makes it 7 apiece with a lovely score on ten minutes, much better second half.

Great pass from Brian Mc Guigan to Gavin Teague one on one with Peter Ward but the big keeper makes a great save to keep his side in the game with six minutes gone in the second half. another sending off and Ardboe are down to fourteen men as Frank Mc Guigan receives a second yellow.

Frank Mc Guigan knocks over a fabulous point from 46 metres to ease Ardboe into a two point lead three minutes in.

Both teams retake their positions and Dromore have a mountain to climb, a point behind and a man down

Dromore are reduced to fourteen men as Fabian O’Neill picks up his second yellow card and Tommy Mc Guigan sends the resultant free over the bar to leave the half time score 0-6 to 0-5 in favour of Ardboe.

Mc Cullagh makes amends with a lovely score on 29 minutes and the sides are level again.

Colm Mc Cullagh picks up a yellow card and then misses a great chance to level the game as we enter the last couple of minutes of the half. Dromore six wides, Ardboe none.

Ronan Mc Nabb breaks through but his shot just misses the target and Ardboe are back on the attack winning  a free thirty metres from the Dromore goal. A yellow card for Fabian O’Neill as Kyle Coney converts and Ardboe lead 0-5 to 0-4.

Ricey on target to bring the sides level after great play from Colm Mc Cullagh 0-4, 0-4 19 minutes gone

Point of the evening with a fabulous strike from Colm Mc Cullagh and the gap is down to one, 0-4 to 0-3 for Ardboe

Conor O’Neill works hard to create the opportunity but fails to convert and Ardboe still lead by two 17 minutes gone.

Yellow card for Anthony Devlin and Eoin Mc Cusker sends the free over the bar from almost 50 metres. 0-4 to 0-2 for Ardboe.

Super pass from Tommy Mc Guigan to brother Brian and a fabulous finish from the county man Ardboe lead 0-3 to 0-1 with nine minutes gone. Frank Mc Guigan extends the lead to three almost immediately. Ardboe look really sharp tonight.

Now for the main event of the evening as Dromore and Ardboe get ready to lock horns with the Loughshore side playing into the breeze in the opening 30 minutes.

Stephen Mc Caffrey goes for goal but Greg Kelly saves low to his right. Time running out for Augher. Sub Owen Coyle wins the ball and heads for goal but settles for a fisted point to move the Harps into a 1-12 to 2-5 lead and that is how it ends. Stewartstown are through to the semi finals of the intermediate championship winning 1-12 to 2-5 having hit the last five points in a row from the 55th minute.

Stewartstown are sharper to the ball and Peter Armor kicks an excellent long range point to ease The Harps into a two point lead. Two minutes left

Stewartstown level the game with four minutes remaining following a punched point by Ed Laverty and Gareth devlin with an excellent score puts them one ahead 1-9 to 2-5

Augher are reduced to 14 men when Aidan Mc Elroy picks up a second yellow. They have 8 minutes plus injury time to hold on.

Augher break from the kickout and Jamie Donnelly is upended in the square, penalty for Augher. Centre back Liam Connolly finishes to the net and Augher lead 2-5 to 1-7 with 19 minutes gone.

That man Cassidy again with a fine strike from thirty metres means there is a single point between the sides 1-6 to 1-5 in favour of The Harps 17 minutes left to play

Another change from Augher as Declan Connolly replaces Colin Mc Kenna with 19 minutes left to play.

A high ball is caught by Peter Armor whose goal bound effort is brilliantly blocked by second half sub Colin Mc Kenna to keep Augher in the game and almost immediately Dara Donnelly points to put two between the sides 1-6 to 1-4 in favour of Stewartstown

The first 45 of the evening comes the way of Stewartstown after an Anton Coyle effort is tipped wide and the resultant dead ball sails harmlessly wide. Keeper Mel Mc Caughey makes a hash of the kickout but atones with a brilliant save from Anto Coyle to turn his goal bound effort over the bar. Stew 1-6, Augh 1-3, 7 minutes gone

Both teams back on the pitch and Augher make two changes bringing in Colin Mc Kenna and Dara Donnelly for Paul Treanor and Ryan Donnelly. Immediately an Augher attack and an Aidan Cassidy point puts two between the sides. Stew 1-5, Augh 1-3

Augher make a change just before the break and corner forward Conor Hackett is replaced by Stephen Mc Caffrey as referee Brian Mc Callion blows the half time whistle with score Stew 1-5, Augher 1-2.

One minute of injury time called and an Augher free is moved forward affording Jamie Donnelly  an easy chance which he sends over the bar to leave it 1-5 to 1-2 for Stewartstown with half time almost upon us.

Twenty one minutes in and it is Gareth Devlin again, this time from a free and Stewartstown lead 1-5 to 1-1

Stewartstown respond with a long ball from Paul Dillon, caught by Gareth Devlin who is fouled inside the square and Ryan Devlin scores from the penalty spot. Augh 1-1, Stew 1-0, 7 minutes gone

County minor Sean Hackett picks the ball up wide on the right and carries it through the defence right footed before stepping round the keeper and finishing to the net with his left foot, fabulous goal and brilliant start from Augher. Augh1-1, St 0-0 4 minutes gone.

An Aidan Cassidy effort in Augher’s first attack just drops short and into the keeper’s hands. Thirty seconds later Cassidy is fouled 25 metres from goal and Jamie Donnelly opens the scoring with a pointed free. Augher 0-1, Stewartstown 0-0, 3 mins

With less than twenty five minutes to throw in for the Intermediate Championship Quarter Final between Augher and Stewartstown there is no sign of any rush at the turnstiles. The Omagh pitch is looking in immaculate condition, courtesy of DIMAC pitch maintenance, so there can be no excuse for not producing good quality football on a beautifully maintained surface.

Toss has been taken and Augher will face the wind in the opening thirty minutes.
