Colmans withstand the late comeback from Omagh and hold on to deservedly win by four points on a final score of 1-16 to 1-12.

With four minutes left on the clock Omagh have reduced to gap to five points, 1-15 to 1-10 behind, but has the revival come too late?

Colmans look home and hosed as they add a further two points to make it 1-15 to 1-7.

With twelve minutes remaining the gap is six points as Omagh trail 1-13 to 1-7, it will take a miracle to turn this one around now.

The gap is now seven as Colmans lead 1-12 to 1-5. Omagh have not scored in the second half.

There are eleven minutes of the second half gone and Omagh seem to be heading for the exit door as Colmans have added three points to extend the gap to six, the score reading 1-11 to 1-5 in favour of the Newry lads.

It is half time at Emyvale in the Mac Rory quarter final and the Newry College have turned it around. Omagh have only managed to add a single point while Colmans have hit 1-4 to leave the half time score 1-8 to 1-5 in favour of St Colmans. A punched goal from Dara Doonan just before half time has put Colmans into a very strong position.

Twenty minutes in and Omagh CBS lead 1-4 to 0-4, a free from Sludden and a fabulous individual goal from Donaghy puts the Brothers three ahead.

Ten minutes gone and the score is 0-2 apiece. Colmans opened the scoring but a Tommy Mc Grath free and a point from play by Ruairi Sludden put Omagh in front only for Colmans to level.

Omagh CBS have travelled to Emyvale in County Monaghan today for their Mac Rory Cup clash with St Colman’s Newry. We will be carrying live updates from the game which is just ready to get under way.
