Now that the challenge of appointing the next Tyrone Senior Football Manager is beginning to gather pace, the early favourite for the position Feargal Logan has made it clear he would be interested in taking over from Mickey Harte.

Logan, who managed the under 21 side to All Ireland glory back in 2015, has stated that he would be more than willing to take on the job if a club nominates him for the post. It is expected that the Omagh based solicitor will once again have Brian Dooher as part of his management team.

Meanwhile former Tyrone star and three time All Ireland champion Enda Mc Ginley is expected to feature among the front runners for the Antrim job. Lenny Harbinson resigned from the Saffron hot seat following their loss to Cavan in the first round of the Ulster Championship. Rumour suggests Stephen O’Neill will be part of Mc Ginley’s back room team should the Errigal man take the job.
