With four games left to play in the Intermediate league it’s Mattie McGuigan who leads the way in the race to win the Begleys Sports Sponsored Golden Boot for the leading marksman in D2. The Kildress sharpshooter, who won the D3 award last season, is thirteen points clear of nearest rival James Darcy. Darragh Kavanagh, Pascal Donaghy and Eoghan McHugh are the only other players to date who have passed the fifty point mark and they complete the top five.
