Macartan’s Ladies Lift Under 16 League Title

St Macartan’s Under 16 Ladies gave their senior girls the ideal lift as they eclipsed the Grade One League Title tonight under lights in Greencastle. They were up against an Ardboe side who had defeated “Macs” in the championship recently so revenge was very much on the agenda. The Clogher Valley girls dominated from the off and with Niamh Mc Girr in superb form they ran out 3-14 to 3-2 winners. Mc Girr hit 2-8 from play for her side and was joined on the scoring charts Shannon Mc Quaid 1-0, Deirdre Mc Carroll 0-2, Marie Quinn 0-2, and a point each from Deirdre Bogue and Ciara Monaghan.
