St.Patrick’s Academy Dungannon and St.Ciaran’s Ballygawley were both in Danske Bank MacRory Cup action on Wednesday afternoon but unfortunately both failed to pick up points. Mark Donnelly top scored for the Academy with 0-7 to his name while Diarmuid McKeown and Ryan Jones got their goals but they lost out to St.Patrick’s Cavan at Scotstown on a 4-14 to 2-12 scoreline. Thomas Smith 2-2, Eoghan Brady 1-5, Paddy McPhillips 1-0 and Cormac Timoney 0-3 were on target for the winners.
Lorcan Forde got two goals including an injury time winner as Abbey CBS defeated St.Ciaran’s in dramatic fashion at the Pearse Ogs club in Armagh. Darragh Canavan top scored for the Tyrone lads with 1-6 to his name with Marc Lennon, Daniel Millar and Tomas Hoy others to get on the score sheet as it finished 2-10 to 1-12. Ruairi McCormick weighed in with 0-5 for the Newry based school.
