Mark Donnelly Looks Ahead To Donegal Game
Thursday 23.06.2011

Mark Donnelly made his Ulster senior championship debut in the quarter final win over Monaghan and now the Carrickmore man is looking forward to a semi final meeting with division two National league winners Donegal.
“I didn’t see their game against Cavan but looking back on our meeting in the league against them they bring a lot of men back behind the ball and it’s very hard to penetrate and hard to get the ball through them as a forward but I’m sure Mickey has looked at it,” says Mark.
“I suppose we have to try and get the ball in as early as we can to avoid them getting their men back. Again it’s down to a lot of hard work on our behalf. If Tyrone work harder than them then hopefully we will get the right result but it won’t be easy. They are very well organised and in the full forward line you have to be patient and create space and take any scoring chance that presents itself.”
