Mark And Niall Leading Marksmen In D3 Last Weekend

For the second week running Derrytresk’s Niall Gavin was the leading marksman in Division three although this time he is joined by Castlederg’s Mark Corry, both players finishing with 1-7 to their name. Ironically both of their clubs were involved in draws, Derrytresk with Fintona and Urney with Cookstown. Matthew Carberry and Jamie McAleer both hit 0-9 for their respective sides in that Cookstown v Urney encounter while Cathal Starrs had the same total [1-6] in Fintona’s draw with Derrytresk. Gavin, Corry, Starrs and Carberry are the only four players who feature among the Sharpshooters for the second week running. Killyman’s Enda McGahan also kicked an impressive 0-9 with Eskra’s Joe McCarroll and Clann na Gael’s Danny Ball also featuring on this week’s leader board.
