Markey Cup Playoff Ends Level

Holy Trinity Cookstown and St Ciaran’s HS Ballygawley played out an uninspiring 3-6 to 2-9 draw in Paddy Cullen park Cookstown this afternoon. Both teams fielded vastly understrength teams and following a coin toss at the final whistle St Ciaran’s now face Sacred Heart College Omagh on Friday afternoon at 12pm in Galbally. The third and final playoff will take place next Tuesday afternoon when Holy Trinity play Sacred Heart. The two teams with the highest points tally will progress to the Markey Cup Semi Final.
